COVID-19 Update

The Victorian Government has announced that following the Circuit Breaker Lockdown, restrictions are easing in regional Victoria from 11:59pm on Thursday 3rd June 2021 if testing shows there continues to be no new cases.

Therefore, from 11:59pm on Thursday 3rd June 2021, there will be no limits on why regional Victorians can leave home or how far they can travel. All Bendigo Marketplace stores will reopen, in accordance with the Victorian Government’s restrictions:

Face masks must be worn indoors, except within your own home or if an exemption applies.

Service Victoria’s QR code check-in requirements will be mandatory for all retail settings, including supermarkets.

Businesses in regional Victoria are required to check the IDs of everyone they serve, including restaurants and beauty salons, to ensure no one from Melbourne attempts to break lockdown rules.

Cafes and restaurants will reopen for seated dining, with density limits.

All retail stores will be reopen, with density limits.

Personal care, hairdressing and beauty will reopen for services only where masks can be worn at all times.
